What We Believe

The Bible

We believe the Bible is God’s Word for all people, a message of love, truth, hope, and salvation. Through Scripture, God reveals who He is, who we are, and the good news that we are saved from sin through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

As 2 Timothy 3:16–17 reminds us, “All Scripture is God-breathed...” Through His Word, God continues to teach, guide, correct, comfort, and shape us in faith.

God the Father

We believe God the Father is the maker and creator of all things. He is loving, merciful, and faithful. God does not desire separation from His people, but relationship with them. Because of His great love, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, into the world.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."
John 3:16

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, sent into the world to be the bridge between God and humanity. Through His death on the cross, our sins are forgiven. Through His resurrection, we are given the promise of new life.

Jesus is our Savior, our Redeemer, and the center of our faith. 1 Timothy 2:5-6 says, “For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people.”

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit calls us to faith in Jesus Christ, keeps us in the true faith, and strengthens us to live as God’s people. The Spirit comforts, guides, equips, and sends us to share the love of Christ in the world.

Jesus promises in John 14: 26 “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”

A Life of Good Works

We believe faith in Jesus leads to a life of love, service, and good works. These works do not earn our salvation. Instead, they flow from gratitude for all God has done for us.

True faith bears fruit in love and care for others. “The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.” (Galatians 5:6)

Grace

We believe God has a plan of grace for all people. Though sin separates us from God, Christ paid the debt we could not pay. Through Him, we receive forgiveness, mercy, and eternal life.

Grace means this gift is not earned. It is not deserved. It is freely given by God through faith in Jesus Christ.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8–9
